Après le rôle positif de la colonisation, voici, le rôle positif de la chrétienté...

Le sénat du Missouri a voté une résolution qui considère que la prière à l'école n'est pas une entorse à la séparation de l'Église et de l'État, mais plutôt une reconnaissance justifiée du rôle positif joué par la religion chrétienne dans la grande nation qui est la nôtre, les États-Unis d'Amériques.

Voluntary prayer in public schools and religious displays on public property are not a coalition of church and state, but rather the justified recognition of the positive role that Christianity has played in this great nation of ours, the United States of America.

Le plus déprimant étant, je pense, les attendus :

Attendu que nous souhaitons perpétuer la sagesse donnée à la Constitution des E-U par les pères fondateurs, et
Attendu que nous, élus officels, reconnaissons qu'une Puissance Supérieure existe au-dessus et au-dessous (?) des institutions humaines,

Je pense qu'ils ne sont même pas au courant que certains des Pères fondateurs étaient tout sauf bigots...
